Signs of Heat Stress in Tall Thimbleweed
Symptoms
During summer, Tall Thimbleweed should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures exceed 85℉, leaves may lighten, curl, become sunburned, and in severe cases, the plant may wilt and dry out completely.
Solutions
Remove any sunburned or dried portions. Relocate the plant to a spot shaded from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
