In summer, Eastern bluestar should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures exceed 85℉, the plant's leaves may lighten, curl, suffer sunburn, and in severe cases, the whole plant might wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
