Signs of Cold Temperatures in Evergreen rose
Symptoms
Evergreen rose tolerates cold well and grows optimally above 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while winter changes might be subtle, branches can become brittle and dry by spring, with no new growth appearing.
Solutions
In spring, remove any dead branches that haven't produced new foliage.
Signs of High Temperatures in Evergreen rose
Symptoms
In summer, Evergreen rose should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures exceed 85℉, the plant's leaves may lighten, tips might dry and shrivel, and it becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
